How do scheduling and cancellations work?
Appointments are offered Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m. MST. Frequency depends on your needs and goals. Contact Sydney to discuss current availability and a time that works for you.
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.
Does being in-network guarantee coverage?
A few things you may be wondering.
How do I get started with therapy?
Use the contact form, email, text, or call to get in touch. Let Sydney know whether you plan to use insurance or private pay, along with a few days or times that usually work for you.
Sydney will follow up with available appointment options and next steps.
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is a chance to share what brings you to therapy, discuss relevant history, and begin identifying goals together. You will also review scheduling, confidentiality, and other practical details.
You do not need to have everything figured out. The process is collaborative and moves at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
What insurance do you accept?
Aetna · Blue Cross/Blue Shield · Cigna · First Choice · Moda Health · Pacific Source · Optum · Oscar Health · Oxford · Regence · United Health Care
What are my payment options?
I accept private pay in addition to insurance. Payment is due at the time of session. I accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. Superbills can also be provided for possible out of network reimbursement.
Being in-network does not guarantee coverage. Insurance benefits are determined by your plan and may include deductibles, copays, or coinsurance.
I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm your mental health benefits before your first session.
Are services confidential?
Yes, protecting your privacy is an important part of the therapeutic process. Information shared in therapy is confidential and will not be released without your written permission, except in situations required by law or ethical standards. We will review confidentiality and its limits in more detail during your first appointment.
Are services confidential? What if my concern is not listed?
